Professor & Director Behavior Change Research Center

Professor, Department of Psychology, University of Rhode Island, where he is also the Director of the Behavioral Science PhD program, Director of Research at the Cancer Prevention Research Center, and a member of the University’s Institutional Review Board. His areas of interest include quantitative methods, the transtheoretical model of health behavior change, multiple health behavior change, and computer-tailored intervention development. He has twice been listed as one of the highest impact authors in psychology, in 1996 and 2006.
